- Went hiking in the rain.
- Explored the city's various areas in various outings (including one last Thursday where Erika and I went to this pottery painting/tea shop thing. We got free tea because we painted something after 5PM on a Thursday)
- Done WAY too much Japanese homework while dealing with the professors constant need to change the assignments.
- Started volunteering with the campus Japanese exchange student program. They have this thing called Classroom Volunteers where they ask the American students to come and help in the Japanese exchange student classes. It's been fun, and I've enjoyed getting to know some of the exchange students better (PLUS it gives me the opportunity to practice my Japanese after class. We're not allowed to use Japanese in the classes themselves, but when I see them outside of the classes it's a good opportunity for practice).
- Gone to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show the night before Halloween (although it was at midnight, so technically it was on Halloween).
- Went home for the homecoming game and got to see my family and a bunch of high school friends :D
- and a billion other things I either don't remember or don't feel like writing down.
I'm finally done with midterms (and did quite well on the two I had :D) and I'm heading into the final stretch now. At least, it *feels* like it should be the final stretch.
Also I am doing Nanowrimo this year! I probably won't finish (and am actually about a week behind now) but I'm hoping to keep trying to work on it. Last week was a little crazy with homework, but hopefully this week will be better.
That's it for now! Hopefully I'll blog again sooner, but until then、 じゃね!
