Because Everybody's Doing It

Ahh wordpress, feels like this blogger's home (it's what I used for my first serious blog anyway, back when I had a website with my own domain name for a while). I finally got a blog here since it seemed like a few people were grabbing one, and I've dabbled with the idea of having a blog separate from my livejournal for a while. I love that thing, but not everybody uses it.  So here we are, a new home for life and college musings. I want to play around with the themes for a bit, but since it's 12:30 I think I'll leave it for now.

Speaking of which, I'm meeting my roommate tomorrow (Erika, who, judging by her facebook, seems quite awesome and I'm excited to meet her in person).  We've been trying to set up a day for a while now, so I'm happy we both managed to find a day in our busy schedule to get together.  Also, I think I'm finally done with all of the stuff I need/want to get for college.  Except for maybe an extra pillow (oh and THIS gorgeous thing, but since the Zune HD is about $300 I probably will not get it until Christmas.  And even then it will be when I ask for it as my one and only present).

So now I just have a month to waste (or use productively for things like Japanese studying or getting started on Christmas presents) until my classes start while I slowly say good-bye to my friends who get to start much earlier.  It's nice to have a long summer, but I'm bored and ready for learning.  Now.
