Ch-ch-changes

So here we are, MONTHS after my last post.  However, my holidays were fantastic and relaxing, and winter quarter has been nice enough so far.  Next week marks the halfway point actually, so I'm pretty excited about that.  Mostly I've been working on essays, studying endless amounts of kanji, and working on a job application I need to turn in by Friday.  However, recently I've noticed a few things that have changed for me since starting college.

I seem to be becoming a morning person.  Signs of this are that I signed up for more morning classes than afternoon classes this quarter (although really, my first class isn't until 9 so it's not that big of a sign) and I get up at 6AM almost every morning.  This is something I didn't even do when I was in high school which started at 7:30.  Not only do I get up at 6 in the morning, I get up to go running.  Most of the time it's with at least one other person, but no one else wanted to go this morning.  Normally when this happens I decide to go back to bed for another hour, but this morning I decided to run to the rec center then run around the track there for a total of an hour.

I'm more okay with doing things by myself.  While it's not my favorite thing to do, I'm fine with the idea of going and grabbing lunch by myself, or going to something even if I don't have someone else to go with.  This is something I'm still sort of working on, but it's been better since college.

I procrastinate WAY less.  In fact, I get some things done early to a ridiculous degree.  Whereas I used to start and finish essays a few days before they're due, I've started doing them more than a week before the due date.  My next paper isn't due until Monday, but I'm almost done with the rough draft.  Craziness.

So there you have it.  The person I'm becoming in college.  However, I still love a good video game (AKA Mass Effect 2!!!) and playing card games with my family.  Which are two things I'm looking forward to doing this weekend when I'm home <3

Oh, and PS, another thing that has been gobbling up time is Dragon Age: Origins.  My brother got it for Christmas, and after he finished it he gave it to me.  WIN XD
